{"id":1645,"date":"2021-09-22T10:04:13","date_gmt":"2021-09-22T08:04:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.melform.com\/uncategorized\/la-multi-temperatura-nella-logistica-del-farmaco\/"},"modified":"2022-11-24T18:48:54","modified_gmt":"2022-11-24T16:48:54","slug":"multi-temperature-in-the-biomedical-logistics-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.melform.com\/en\/success-stories\/multi-temperature-in-the-biomedical-logistics-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Multi temperature in the biomedical logistics"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\">[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\r\n<div class=\"col-lg-8\">\r\n<div class=\"page-content clearfix\">\r\n<h3>The request of the customer:<\/h3>\r\n<strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.melform.com\/app\/media\/uploads\/wysiwyg\/case_history.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"191\" \/><\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>Transport of different types of biological material at three different temperatures on a commercial vehicle, not insulated<\/strong>.\r\n\r\nThe request of a French company that operates in the biomedical instrumentation industry has been to study a solution for the distribution on the territory of biological material.\r\nGiven the different types of material, the same had <strong>to be transported at 3 different temperatures in a single minivan, not insulated<\/strong>.\r\nSince the amount of product to be distributed was of limited size, it did not need to have a mono temperature van.\r\n\r\n<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\r\n<h3>Melform solution:<\/h3>\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.melform.com\/app\/media\/uploads\/wysiwyg\/Furgone_fronte_LR.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"166\" \/>\r\n\r\nOur R&amp;D technical department have studied and produced various models of Koala Line with integrated refrigerator group with a capacity from 20 to 150 liters which allow to maintain the temperature at a pre-set point of -25\u00b0 to + 22\u00b0C\r\n\r\nThe containers were subjected to thermal retention test either in Melform laboratory and in external certified laboratories. They were also subject to functional tests on road in vehicles for several months.\r\n\r\nThe control of the temperature inside the refrigerated containers set on the vehicle was monitored by means of USB data logger.\r\nAccording to customer needs, the temperature control can indeed be managed in two ways: at destination, the data logger is delivered together with the goods and downloaded on files; or through a GPS detection system (SIM) directly downloaded on Cloud with the traceability of the vehicle and the goods.\r\n\r\nThe results were excellent: the temperature maintained by the containers has fully met the customer requirements because <strong>the cold chain has never been interrupted<\/strong>.\r\nSo far, our client has set up about 300 vehicles daily circulating in France with significant cost savings compared to the solution of commercial vehicles modified mono temperature.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<h3>The advantages:<\/h3>\r\n<strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.melform.com\/app\/media\/uploads\/wysiwyg\/Furgone_retro_LR.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"167\" \/><\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>Flexibility in transport management<\/strong><strong>\r\n<\/strong>In a vehicle, not insulated, it is possible simultaneously to carry fresh, frozen and room temperature goods.\r\nThe temperature adjustment range: -25\u00b0C to + 40\u00b0C is able to meet the 4 temperatures required by the specifications.\r\n\r\n<strong>Reduction of investment costs\r\n<\/strong>The investment for the containers is much lower compared to the setting of a refrigerated vehicle.\r\nReduction of circulating vehicles since the deliveries can be split with appropriate containers.\r\n\r\n<strong>Dual power\r\n<\/strong>The containers have been connected to the vehicle battery and, once at destination, connected to main power.\r\nAt destination, together with the goods is also possible to deliver the container itself which maintains the temperature required by connecting it to the electrical power.\r\n\r\n<strong>Ecofriendly\r\n<\/strong>Fully recyclable at the end of its operating life.<strong>\r\n<\/strong>\r\n<strong>Washable and cleanable\r\n<\/strong>Easily washable and cleanable to prevent contamination.\r\n\r\n<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div id=\"sidebar\" class=\"col-lg-4\">\r\n<div class=\"widget widget-slideshow\">\r\n<div id=\"primoPianoSlider\" class=\"carousel slide\" data-ride=\"carousel\" data-interval=\"false\">\r\n<div class=\"carousel-inner active\"><\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] The request of the customer: Transport of different types of biological material at three different temperatures on a commercial vehicle, not insulated.
