THE CUSTOMER:<\/strong><\/h3>\r\nChronopost<\/strong>, a national leader in the express delivery of parcels up to 30 kg to business and private customers, has a team of 3,500 employees and serves 230 countries worldwide.\r\nTheir new division, Chronofresh, offers the temperature-controlled express delivery service of food products to professionals and end users throughout France\r\n

THE REQUEST:<\/strong><\/h3>\r\nConsumer buying preferences are changing, thanks to the\u00a0e-commerce boom<\/strong>\u00a0and the trend for “eating less, but eating better<\/strong>” choosing local products<\/strong>.\r\nChronofresh<\/strong> needed to deliver food products (dried, fresh or frozen) throughout France, quickly and safely, ensuring maximum freshness of the products up to their destination.\r\n

MELFORM SOLUTION<\/h3>\r\nAfter a careful technical evaluation, Melform has studied and supplied the CARGO 1000 isothermal container<\/strong> for their new express delivery service for food products at a controlled temperature (between 0 and 4 \u00b0 C and – 18 \u00b0 C) in order to guarantee a rigorous respect for the cold chain<\/strong>.\r\n\r\nModular and mobile, our CARGO 1000 containers are fully compatible with the fleet of traditional Chronopost vehicles<\/strong>. They allow to associate products stored at different temperatures inside the same vehicle, ensuring flexibility and load organization.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nMelform insulated containers, all provided with ATP certification, has been equipped with RFID chips for the traceability of the package throughout the transport. The temperature data are recorded and transmitted at each step (collection, sorting, routing and delivery).\r\n\r\nWith our solution, the customer can grant deliveries<\/strong> of:\r\n\u2022 fresh\u00a0products<\/strong> between\u00a00 and 4\u00b0C\r\n\u2022 deep\u00a0frozen products<\/strong>\u00a0at a temperature of less than -18\u00b0C\r\n\u2022 grocery products<\/strong>\u00a0at room temperatue\r\n\r\nCurrently, there are about 300 MELFORM insulated containers used and circulating on the French territory.\r\n\r\nThanks to the collaboration with Melform, transport and delivery of fresh products, in full respect of the cold chain, are no longer a problem<\/strong>.\r\n\r\nHome delivery of temperature-controlled foods has become efficient and productive.\r\n\r\nCARGO 1000: ADVANTAGES<\/strong>\r\n
